A customer service functionality will debut soon in the messaging application.

Soon, WhatsApp users will be able to communicate directly with the companies that use the application.

This will be possible thanks to a new customer service functionality that will soon reach WhatsApp and will allow users to communicate with companies in the image and likeness of how they do it on Facebook Messenger and Twitter.

There will be a green icon next to the contact name when it comes to an account belonging to a business, displayed in ITProPortal .

As it has been revealed, every time a user starts a conversation with a company, all messages will appear yellow in those chats , so that they can be distinguished well against those received from conventional users.

As has happened with other WhatsApp features in the past, it is still in the testing phase , which can be enjoyed by a small number of companies that are part of a pilot project.

At the moment there is no official date for its release but it is expected that its arrival will occur relatively soon .
