The company has created a knowledge management infrastructure for data processing by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
GMV has worked with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to implement the bases of a knowledge management infrastructure with the purpose of providing information to users that is relevant, contextual and accurate. The company used some of the most appropriate technologies for the processing of unstructured data, cognitive analysis, Machine Learning and NLP (Natural Language Processing).
Thanks to its expertise and technical knowledge, the GMV team has been able to combine and adapt different solutions such as IBM Watson and NLTK (Python Natural Language Toolkit) to meet the specific needs of the IDB in terms of knowledge management and processing of information is concerned. This includes the use of knowledge analysis engines, extraction algorithms and the organization of lessons learned from projects, as well as automatic document classification.
Javier Fernández, head of the Text Analytics & Big Data section at GMV USA , has led this project which, according to him, has allowed GMV to “position itself as a leading technological partner in a critical area in the IDB, such as the dissemination of knowledge” .
