In the framework of Huawei Connect 2017, the company has launched a new series of products, based on the idea that the cloud together with artificial intelligence and, thirdly, connectivity, will be the protagonists of the revolution.

The cloud as a pillar of all technologies involved in digital transformation . This is the main message that emerges from the Huawei Connect 2017. Moreover, on the opening day the CEO of the Asian multinational, Guo Ping, showed his letters announcing his intention to build one of the five main clouds that, according to will dominate the global ICT ecosystem in the coming years . All a statement of intentions that the company has reinforced with the launch of a range of new products that, a priori , support that vision. Ping announced that the company will continue to invest efforts and resources in the public cloud.

El éxito del binomio cloud– artificial intelligence will be, for the organization, the basis of the digital transformation. In this sense, the firm has already launched the Enterprise Intelligence (EI) platform, which through deep learning techniques provides voice, natural language and image recognition services along with graphics analysis, reasoning and indexing capabilities.

What about the Internet of Things?

The third great guest sitting at the table of the new paradigm is undoubtedly the Internet of Things (IoT). Intelligent connectivity is the starting point for more and more organizations. The Huawei platform presumes to provide ubiquitous, secure and transverse connectivity to powerful industries such as manufacturing, which according to a Gartner study 15% of connected objects in 2020 will come from its activity.

A clear example is the local startup Ofo, which, based on collaborative economy and IoT, has managed to populate thousands of yellow bicycles in more than 200 cities in the world in just two years. Huawei creates one million NB-IoT chips for them every month. With these, the security, location and exchange of bikes is guaranteed.

New solution portfolio

The conference has earned Huawei as the starting point for a series of products that will defend their vision of digital transformation in the coming months. To the above mentioned solutions on IA and Internet of the things Atlas adds, a hardware based on the cloud that in scenarios of public cloud combines artificial intelligence with computation of high performance to enter in the different models of service, doubling the use of means.

The company has also introduced new software, Huawei DevCloud, which enables tools, capabilities and process services on Huawei Cloud. Fusion Cloud Stack as an expanded public cloud module and Fusion Bridge for hybrid cloud complete Huawei’s new ecosystem of products.
