After many months of uncertainty, on 28 April, the Madrid City Council decreed the change of name of 52 streets included in the municipal map. In this way, and in compliance with the Law of Historical Memory ratified in 2007, the new edition of the street of the capital no longer includes reference to these roads and squares, although the replacement of the plates (physical change) has not yet occurred .
