In particular, the commercialization of these smart devices will go from the 113.2 million units that will register at the end of this year 2017, to the 222.3 million units with which it will close the year 2021 .
With regard to the different categories present in the world of wearables, smart wristbands are the leaders currently with 45 million units sold in 2017 and a 39.8% market share .
Of course, for the future the IDC forecasts say that its relevance will decrease, and in the year 2021, 47.7 million units will be commercialized and the market share of smart bracelets will be 21.5%.
The smart watches will have this year a market share of 27.9% (31.6 million units), and facing the 2021 register a breakthrough to controlling 32.1% (71.5 million units).
With regard to smart clothes , the consultant’s data highlights that it will advance from 2.1% of market share (2.4 million units) in 2017 to 5.2% (11.5 million units) ) planned for within four years.
