For developers wishing to integrate tablet support into their applications, different software development kits (SDKs) are available.

The new Wacom STU-541 offers for the first time in the Wacom range TLS (Transport Layer Security), a standard widely used in the industry to secure TCP connections over the Internet.

This level of security eliminates the possibility of data being intercepted and fraud is committed by replacing the USB cable with another one with active circuits, creating a security based on the authorization of communication between the host PC and the STU-541.

Authentication between the STU-541 and the host PC uses certificates and key exchanges. Each STU-541 includes a factory-installed certificate from a certification authority (CA).

The STU-541 includes Wacom Ink Layer Language (WILL) technology to display the representation of handwritten strokes on screen with the highest clarity and accuracy.

For developers wishing to integrate technical support for the STU-541 signature tablet into their applications, different software development kits (SDKs) are available. The SDK also allows companies to use CA-specific certificates that they choose.

Equipped with a high-resolution 5 ” color LCD display provides clear and easy-to-read display of signature or advertising images. The tempered glass cover is extremely sturdy and offers a natural, paper-like feel that reduces light reflection. The use of the pencil is very comfortable and manageable thanks to the integrated pencil compartment, with the vertical pencil holder. Its robustness is also accentuated by the protected cable connection, stabilized by means of a hinged door. This prolongs the service life of the cable and prevents accidental disconnections.

It offers the services of Wacom eSignature solutions, very useful to points of sale, electronic payment, electronic passport, insurance, banking and hotel registration.
